Michael Laird Architects were commissioned by KPMG to design their new Glasgow office space on the top three floors of St Vincent Plaza. The largely open plan nature of the design responds to KPMG’s brief by creating a memorable client space with an internal connecting stair and as a whole the fit out embraces the breathtaking views the building has over the city, Mackintosh’s Art School and the River Clyde.

One of the key outcomes of this project was to use the space as a showcase of the best local craftsmen and manufacturers through elements of the interior. Michael Laird have combined innovative design piece to create an inspiring space expressing the city of Glasgow and its surrounds, known for its vibrancy and creativity.
